Lexus has unveiled the new Lexus TZ, A fully electric premium SUV with six seats and a clear focus on comfort, space, and driving experience. The model had its world premiere today and will be a central part of the brand’s continued electrification strategy.

TZ is based on the concept “Driving Lounge”, where the ambition is to create a calm and relaxing environment for both driver and passengers. The cabin is characterised by minimalist design, high-quality materials, and inspiration from Japanese architecture.

"We wanted to create a new type of Lexus experience where the electric drive contributes to both high comfort and improved driving dynamics," says Chief Engineer. Takeshi Miyaura.
The SUV model will feature three rows of seats with six individual seats and a large panoramic glass roof extending throughout the cabin. Comfort features include heated and ventilated seats in multiple positions, adjustable leg rests, and an advanced sound system from Mark Levinson.

Lexus has also placed great emphasis on acoustic comfort through extra insulation, thicker glass and aerodynamic solutions that should contribute to a quiet and harmonious ride.
The new model is over five metres long and is powered by a four-wheel drive electric system with dual electric motors. The system output is 300 kW, equivalent to approximately 408 horsepower, and the car can achieve 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.

The 95.8 kWh battery provides a preliminary range of up to 530 kilometres. Fast charging up to 150 kW is supported, with charging from 10 to 80 percent estimated to take approximately 35 minutes.
TZ is also equipped with Lexus's latest safety and driver assistance systems, as well as the Arene technology platform, which enables advanced connectivity and digital services.

The model is expected to reach Swedish Lexus dealerships during the first half of 2027. Prices will be announced later in 2026.
