Jaguar shows the interior of its new four-door for the first time GT model Type 01. The car will be the first series-produced model to follow the brand's new creative philosophy and will be presented in its entirety on October 6, 2026 in New York.

One of the compartment The most distinctive feature is a longitudinal center console that runs through the entire interior and divides it into four individual spaces. The solution comes from the concept car and is combined with an enveloping driver environment and a lowered GT driving position.

The material and color choices are inspired by travertine stone and handcrafted textiles. Brass-inspired details run along the center console and door tops, where Jaguars classic jumping jaguar is found.

“In contrast to the usual horizontal interior design, we emphasise its dramatic longitudinal character through the central centre console – an architectural expression that creates four individual spaces,” says Thomas Holden, Chief Interior Designer at Jaguar.
Technology kept discreet
The dashboard has been given a sleek design with the infotainment system integrated into the interior. The idea is that the digital functions should be available when needed but otherwise not dominate the cabin.
A digitl ClearSight The Rear View Display is centrally positioned at the bottom edge of the windscreen and at the same height as the door mirrors. The interior also includes hidden storage spaces and technology that is kept out of the way until needed.
“With a confidence-inspiring GT driving position, clean and sophisticated engineering and a dramatic design, the Type 01 has an interior like no other,” said Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar.
Ahead of the full premiere, prototypes of Type 01 to be displayed with a new foiling during Monterey Car Week in California. The cars will also be on display at the Pebble Beach Concours on August 16.
The completed Jaguar Type 01 will have its world premiere in New York on October 6.
