TESLA CYBERTRUCK – Contradictory & Acclaimed

This is really without competition the most talked-about and questioned car that the automotive industry has seen in a long time! Just the fact that it will take a long time, if ever, before it is allowed to drive Cybertruck on our Swedish roads, awakens fascination and discussion.

When you hop in and out of the car, the enormous, flat windscreen becomes even more apparent.

EVERYTHING CONCERNING The Tesla Cybertruck goes against our traditions for how cars should look and be. It is too toughly built with its square – sided and sharp lines, but at the same time, it is precisely this that makes it so incredibly cool and groundbreaking! Voyage checked into Florida for a test drive. Interest is high and pre-orders of over 2,000,000 cars are a challenge. At the moment, Tesla has a production rate of approximately 200,000 Cypertrucks per year. This is also the reason why Tesla has chosen not to offer a press car, which the press can book, borrow, test drive and make reports about. The cars you may have seen in other press have been customer cars, as is the car I test drove. We managed, via a Tesla Cybertruck group on Facebook, to get in touch with an owner who lived in Tampa, Florida, USA, who was willing to lend out his Cybertruck so that we could make a report. Voyage herewith one of the the first lifestyle magazines in Sweden publishing a self-produced reportage with a test drive of Tesla Cybertruck.

SO MUCH FOR REALITY Cybertruck is really as angular as it looks in photos when you see it in reality. But once you've familiarised yourself with the car for a while, the shapes feel completely reasonable. When you get into the car, the gigantic and the flat windscreen is even more visible. Even though one shouldn't, a person would easily fit lying down in the space in front of the console and the steering wheel. This really makes you feel that there is space that enhances the interior feel. The other interior spaces are also ample, with the exception that the roof at the back and over the rear seat also slopes, albeit backwards. This makes the rear seat space feel a little less than in competitors. The steering wheel isn't round but rather a bit squar- Tingling And oval, this completes the extremely minimalist dashboard. There isn't a single physical button. Everything is controlled via the 18.5-inch touchscreen in the centre of the car. You also, Tracksuit, to mention a few features. It takes a little while to get used to the touch-sensitive buttons, and especially the indicator, which you're used to being a stalk behind the steering wheel. However, once you're used to it, it's comfortable.

ATTRACTS ATTENTION From a structural perspective, one might assume that the Cybertruck is as unwieldy as it looks. However, that's not actually the case. Thanks to the rear wheels also being steerable, the turning radius isn't nearly as large as it is on many other pickups. So, this feature makes the Tesla Cybertruck much more agile to manoeuvre than it appears. When driving on the motorway, one might assume that the wind noise due to the vehicle's angular shape would be unbearable. However, that's not the case, and there is good acoustic comfort in the Cybertruck. Tesla Not only that, but they haven't skimped on the sound system here, so if you're bothered by minimal wind noise anyway, you can easily drown it out with music you like. One thing you will have to get used to, but which is guaranteed to calm down once the novelty wears off, is how much attention the Tesla Cybertruck generates. Even in the USA, where many Cybertrucks are already on the road, it still attracts attention and people come up to look and talk. We had two days with Tesla Cybertruck and in these two days we managed both a longer drive on the motorway and city driving. I myself have owned a total of five pick-ups, so I feel I know what it's like to drive and own a pick-up. To take the step to an electric pick-up like Tesla Cybertruck doesn't feel entirely remote, actually, if it is approved and allowed to drive in Sweden.

Visually, you.
