Kia has released the first images of the new Kia K4, a compact sedan that defines a new era of design and innovation. Kia K4, which is the result of a bold fusion of technology, color and material, is ready to take the world stage on New York Auto Show March 27th.

The unique body shape is the result of an innovative design process called ”"Twist Logic"”. By twisting the connections between logically aligned surfaces in a seemingly illogical way, the design team has created a modern and unique shape that stands out from the crowd.

”Every contour, curve and detail of the K4 has been carefully considered and crafted to follow Kia’s ”Opposites United’ design philosophy, which brings together clean faceted surfaces and technical details into a bold, cohesive expression. Each aspect further strengthens the relationship between brand and design,” says Karim Habib, design director for Kia.

The Kia K4 introduces new standards of design, innovation and driving experience to the compact sedan segment.

Vertical headlights mark the front on either side, helping to create a wide and stable stance, while DRLs are integrated with horizontal chrome strips to further accentuate a sophisticated look. Viewed from the rear, the Kia K4 exudes the same aura of strength and dynamism. Vertical lights on the outer edge cut vertically downwards towards a wide, technical bumper.

The interior design departs from the traditional driver-oriented environment with screens and controls angled towards the driver, creating a clear distinction between a more mechanical driver's cockpit and a comfortable and warm passenger compartment.

Physical buttons and controls are intentionally kept to a minimum, but ensure fast, intuitive interaction with the car's functions.
