Our Motoring Editor, James Holm, recently spent a week in Italy visiting some of the WORLD-RENOWNED CAR FACTORIES IN THE SO-CALLED MOTOR VALLEY, IN EMILIA-ROMAGNA. DESPITE LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAIN, HE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEST AND TEST DRIVE, AMONG OTHERS, THESE THREE UNIQUE CARS.

DALLARA STRADALE A Go-kart in a Giant Costume
TO SELL THE SUM A car company that only builds a few car models is missing the whole point of the business. I also made this mistake before I actually visited their factory. To put it mildly, anything that Dallara isn't involved in isn't worth spending time and money on. The number, especially of Italian car brands, that Dallara has nothing to do with is incredibly few. If we look at motorsport, you almost get goosebumps when you hear how much Dallara is involved and for how long they have been. This article would be very long if I went into everything Dallara has had a hand in. Now the article is going to be about one of their models, the Dallara Stradale, a car model that I had the opportunity to test drive. Dallara Road It's anything but a comfortable car, it's a truly hard-nosed sports car that begs to be driven hard.

The entire cockpit is made of so-called carbon fibre monocoque. The seats are in the same position and the driver can adjust the pedals longitudinally to set the distance depending on their height. The detailing is of a high standard and a pure exhibition. Enjoyment for the eyes and mind when you have found your place, and when you have done
you are literally sitting in a vice made of carbon fibre. That's exactly how you want it to feel when it goes fast and the road turns. On my test drive, I really get to experience that. I have someone from the factory with me in the car, and when I accelerate, I timidly ask if it's okay for me to step on it. He flatters me with a response, saying that it's clearly noticeable that I know what I'm doing behind the wheel. So I took the opportunity to push Dallara Stradale as much as I actually dared to myself. It was clear that I was only, so to speak, fumbling with what this car is actually capable of!

FERRARI PUROSANGUE – WITH GOOD VISION
PUROSANGUE IS A Of the latest Ferrari models. Ferrari themselves don't want to call Purosangue for an SUV, but it's a slightly raised, four-seater, four-wheel-drive car model. The heart of the Ferrari Purosangue is nothing less than a 6.5-litre V12 engine with 725 horsepower. The sound it makes when accelerating literally makes every hair stand on end. During downshifts, every hair ties itself in a knot in sheer pleasure. This is a large car, so the sprint from 0 to 100 takes “chocolate”in 3.3 seconds. The top speed is reached when the speedometer reads 312 kilometres per hour. My test drive was planned up to Abetone, an Italian ski resort. The road there offers a challenging route with many bends. A bit wet though, but nothing that
The Purosangue could impress thanks to its four-wheel drive. The number of Ferrari models I've had the chance to drive is long. But the experience in the FFerrari Purosangue It's something completely new. It feels a bit odd to sit in a raised Ferrari with good visibility and four doors. The rear doors open from the centre and backwards and are so-called suicide doors or "flickfångardörrar" as they are also called. So my experience behind the wheel naturally left me wanting more, and I would say that a Ferrari Purosangue is perfectly suited for our Swedish roads.

LAMBORGHINI REVUELTO – WITH MANY HORSEPOWER
The heart is beating faster tough when you arrive at the factory with a Bull And then getting to take a seat behind the wheel and close the door that opens upwards makes my heart do somersaults. This time, a white Lamborghini Revuelto awaits me. This day's test drive also took us up to a ski resort. The road once again offered plenty
challenging and tight bends. But nothing that Lamborghini Revuelto was affected by.
The car behaved impeccably with full control despite the sheer amount of horsepower. Combining a powerful V12 engine that already has 825 horsepower with electric power sounds like a wasteful use of electric horses. But the result achieved in the Lamborghini Revuelto is truly astonishing. As mentioned, the V12 engine in the Revuelto has 825 horsepower.

The electric motor then has 190 horsepower, for a total of 1,015 horsepower for the Lamborghini Revuelto. These are truly serious figures and should make everything else stand still, and it does.
Even on this day, the road was wet in places, much like the day before with the Ferrari Purosangue. But again, thanks to four-wheel drive, which most Lamborghini models are now equipped with since Audi took over the brand, the Lamborghini Revuelto is relatively easy to handle on wet asphalt, despite the number of horses that want to break free and run. My relationship with Lamborghini is a long one. I was here with my father, Bengt Ason Holm, in 1990 when he produced the car book series Cars Collection, and when the very last Lamborghini Countach of the first generation was built. A car Lamborghini has kept and which can be seen in their museum. When I came
This time, the silver Countach stood outside the factory and was being filmed, all the way to Lamborghini. Incidentally, the Lamborghini Countach is celebrating its 50 years This year as a model.
