STEFANI GERMANOTTA HAS ALWAYS has been a chameleon. On stage and on the red carpet, she is a colorful, sassy personality dressed in eye-catching costumes. In private, she is a completely different personality, a more unadorned and quiet woman who chooses to keep a low profile so as not to stand out. Constantly changing

– I feel the best when I'm sitting at my piano and writing new songs, said Lady Gaga when the undersigned met her in London a few years ago. IN MANY DIFFERENT ROLES
A couple of years after we met, she had a hit in the musical film A Star Is Born, opposite Bradley Cooper, who also directed it. She won both a Oscar and one Grammy for the film's soundtrack and the song Shallows. Since then, we have seen her in the role of Patrizia Gucci in House of Gucci (2021) and now she is in cinemas in this fall's most anticipated film Joker: Folie à Deux, where she plays opposite Joaquin Phoenix who reprises his award-winning role from the film Joker which was released in 2019. Lady Gaga plays Harley Quinn. A role that was specially written for her. Lady Gaga says that she was incredibly flattered to be offered the role. While she thought it would be an exciting challenge, it felt a little scary to step into a universe that was completely new.

– I felt extremely grateful and flattered because Todd Phillips, who directed the film, came to me and said they wrote the role with me in mind.

FRED ASTAIRE & GINGER ROGERS
In the first Joker film from 2019, moviegoers met him as the failed clown Arthur, who responded to society's scorn with murder and other crimes. When the sequel begins, Arthur Fleck/Joker is in prison awaiting trial, following the murders he committed in the first film. When he meets Harley Quinn in the prison choir (Lady Gaga), both fall in love with each other. In a series of dream sequences we see and hear them singing and dancing together. These scenes flow seamlessly into the plot. The music is evergreens of the old kind. Lady Gaga contributed many ideas to the film's script and wrote large parts of the music in the film:
– After we started talking more and more about the film, I had a meeting with Todd and Joaquin about the music where I told them about an idea for a dance number. I showed them a video of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing. I played a song that I had written, Folie à Deux, and said I thought it would be interesting if we looked at these two through the lens of what used to be the way for music to really break through. If you had a song that Fred Astaire sang and he and Ginger performed to it, your song became part of The Great American Songbook.

We started planning for this part in the film, I finished writing the song and then Joaquin and I started learning to waltz together. Lady Gaga says that both she and Joaquin were nervous about working together.

created a chemistry that worked very well. Lady Gaga's new album Harlequin is out now, featuring the song Happy Mistake. The album is a complement to the film's soundtrack. Lady Gaga describes the Harlequin album as a kind of sidecar, a '‘companion album’', to the movie.

The fiancé Michael worked on the concept album with her. The couple has been together for five years, but they haven't shown up hand in hand on the red carpet until recently. He is successful
entrepreneur and Harvard University graduate. It was Lady Gaga's mother Cynthia who first met him. They met at a charity event for Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit organization that
primarily focuses on supporting young people's mental health that Gaga and her mother started in 2012. There, Cynthia met an intelligent, handsome and interesting man who she liked at first sight. She called her daughter and said: 'I've met your future husband.'‘What do you say??', the daughter replied, 'I'm not sure I want to meet my future husband.' She still didn't let go of this thought.
