Surrounded by magical vineyards, some of the world's finest wines are produced, the location for your check-in at Como Le Montracet is in Burgundy – a wine location that is simply second to none.
Como hotels has long been associated with destinations like the Maldives and Bali, so now it's time to conquer new territory. The signature tune for the hotels has always been to take advantage of the unique location and elevate its unique feel. This time, they have therefore settled in the heart of byn Puligny-Montrachet and had an 18th-century village created right next to the Grand Cru vineyards.

Here, 30 rooms are now offered, of which two are suites of 70 square metres, as well as a restaurant and spa. The project has been realised in collaboration with the Italian architect Paola Navone working with a clear design language, here in the form of, among other things, bespoke furniture and soft upholstered textiles. She has taken her colour palette from the landscape outside, and we are treated to muted shades of blue, green, and grey. She has a unique ability to create that encounter between old and new.
The restaurant aims to celebrate French gastronomy, with local and seasonal produce being prioritised. Wine is a key focus, and here you find yourself surrounded by some of the world's most renowned vineyards, so pop in. Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay or Pommard. Wine tastings are a given as part of the experience, and visits to the vineyards are too. You'll get an even greater experience of the area during a bike ride among the vines or a balloon ride over the region. We lean back on Paola Navone's comfortable sofa and try to identify the olfactory notes in the wine we've just poured...
