To commemorate the 90th anniversary of Alvar Aalto's iconic vase is now launched Aalto 90 City Vase Collection. The shape is the same as when the vase was first presented, but the glass has been given new expressions in six different shades inspired by the cities of Helsinki, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, New York and Berlin. What they have in common is that they have all had an impact on Aalto's artistic development and served as sources of inspiration in his creation.
