The Swiss watch manufacturer Raymond Weil is marking its 50th anniversary with the launch of an exclusive model – Millesime “The Fifty”. The series is strictly limited to 50 copies.
The Anniversary watch celebrates traditional Swiss watchmaking with a focus on manual craftsmanship and classic mechanics. Each watch is equipped with a restored original movement from 1976, the same year the company was founded.
At its heart is a Valjoux 23-6 chronograph movement, a hand-wound mechanical calibre with a 48-hour power reserve. All movements have been restored and decorated by hand, featuring details such as Geneva stripes, blued screws, and meticulous finishing.
The clock It has a steel case with a white gold bezel and measures 37 millimetres, following classic proportions for manual chronographs. The design is characterised by a so-called neo-vintage style, with a dial constructed in four separate parts to create depth and visual detail.
The colour and design language connects to Raymond Weil's earlier Millesime Small Seconds model, which was awarded at Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2023.
On the back of the watch, you will find the engravings “1976” and “2026”, marking the company's history and anniversary.
With The Fifty will Raymond Weil highlight its heritage as a family-owned business and its position within traditional Swiss watchmaking – while also looking forward.
