Audemars Piguet is celebrating 50 years of the Royal Oak throughout 2022 and among the new models of the iconic timepiece we have this instantly eye-catching perpetual calendar – the Royal Oak QP (Quantieme Perpetuel) in Blue Ceramic.
All the ingredients for one of the world's most coveted watches are of course present – the elegant profile, the grande tapisserie dial, the complex integrated bracelet and the unmistakeable octagonal bezel – and now the colored ceramic case in a hue of blue that pops big time on the wrist.
The fi rst ceramic Royal Oak QP came in 2017 and was one of the standout watches of that year's SIHH fair. As with its black and white predecessors, the Royal Blue Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar has an identical ultra-thin self-winding movement – caliber 5134, with the functions of week indication, day, date, astronomical moon, month, leap year, hours and minutes.
