PATEK PHILIPPE’s manual-wound CH 29-535 PS chronograph calibre, originally introduced in a ladies’ watch in 2009, has been used in the men’s 5170 series since 2010, and the new 5172G-001 is the fifth iteration. The movement has six patented innovations that optimize the chronograph function, including refined tooth profiles, blocking lever and hammers, and an optimized split seconds wheel.
